President’s Update
I want to thank the membership for re-electing me as the President of the Maritime Fire Chiefs Association for another term. I look forward to working with the board to continue to support the fire services for Atlantic Canada.
The 2025 Atlantic Fire Leadership Conference will be held in the City of Summerside, PE July 3-6, 2025. This year’s theme “Leading Through a Changing World” will bring exceptional speakers to showcase strategies, best practices and more! Registration is now open and we look forward to seeing everyone in Summerside.
The board of directors continue to work diligently to support the fire services throughout Atlantic Canada through a series of advocating efforts. We have strong leadership on municipal, provincial, and federal associations. We had great representation at Government Relations week in December 2024 and are forming great connections for support of the great work all our members are doing day to day to help support their departments and communities.
We look forward to meeting once again this summer to collaborate, network and learn from each other!
